External Risk Prevention Service

Once this service is commissioned it complies with the preventive requirements set outin the Occupational Risk Prevention Act.

It includes Health Surveillance and Medical Examinations as well as our other specialservices (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics and AppliedPsycho-Sociology).

Aimed at:

  • Any company or self-employed person, whatever the sector they work in and thatare in charge of one or more workers.
  • Workshops, construction companies, offices, storage companies, transportcompanies, chemical companies, hotel businesses, retail establishments…

HEALTH & SAFETY COORDINATIONS IN CONSTRUCTION SITES

The worksite Health and Safety Coordinator is assigned as required by the current inforce regulations.

The coordinator is in charge of documenting the preventive proceedings that take placeon the worksite and will be responsible for Health and Safety issues, thus complyingwith the current in force regulations.

Aimed at:

Public or private worksite developers:

  • Public Administrations, Real Estate Developers, Residents’ Associations, privateowners who wish to build, reform premises, flats, houses…
  • This includes residential estates, housing, parks, reform work, road works, civilengineering works…

Safety Plans for construction sites

It includes the Health and Safety Plan as well as the processing of the administrativerequirements necessary for worksite entry (Approval Certificate, opening of the workcentre, processing the Site Visitors’ Book and reception of the Site Subcontractors’Book).

Aimed at:

  • Companies contracted directly by the worksite developer or representativethereof, whether they subcontract or not.
  • They can be general contractors or specific trade workers if the work is to becarried out by trade guilds (bricklayers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters,formwork operators, land moving operators…).
  • The subcontracted companies do not have to comply with this requirement.

Training Plans

Prevenor has training centre certification awarded by the Labour Foundation forConstruction (Fundación Laboral de la Construcción), for Metalworkers, Woodworkers,Ceramics and Glass Workers.

The training courses will be provided according to the requirements set out in thedifferent collective agreements and will be requested for working on any worksite, forregistering as a contractor company (REA) or to simply comply with the differentagreements.

Aimed at:

  • All of the trade guilds covered by the Construction Workers Collective Agreement(bricklayers, land moving operators, formwork operators, etc.)
  • The trade guilds covered by the Metalworkers Collective Agreement and whointervene on construction worksites (electricians, plumbers, elevator installers,metal carpenters, etc.)
  • The trade guilds covered by the Woodworkers Collective Agreement whointervene on construction worksites (carpenters, furniture fitters, etc.)
  • The trade guilds covered by the Glass and Sign Makers Collective Agreement(glaziers and sign makers).

EXPRESS CONSTRUCTION SITE ACCESS SERVICE

Immediate processing of the indispensable preventive procedures to access the worksite:

  • Medical Fitness Certificates.
  • Training Courses.
  • Health and Safety Plans.
  • Processing Work Centre registration, Site Visitors’ Book, and reception of the SiteSubcontractors’ Book.
  • Registration in the REA
  • Worksite signage.
  • Designating the Preventive Resource Officer.
  • Etc.

Aimed at:

  • Companies or self-employed persons who urgently require worksite entry and haveto comply with certain preventive and administrative requirements.

Medical check-ups

Medical check-ups must be carried out according to specific protocols for each type of job and employee.

Following these checks, individual medical certificates must be issued in proof that the worker in question is capable of performing the tasks entailed by his/her job.

Risk prevention officers

It involves the continued presence of Preventive Officers in the required work centres,registering and documenting all actions that are carried out.

The officer’s work schedule will be agreed upon beforehand with the company.

Aimed at:

  • Contractors who require a Preventive Resource Officer/Technician on the worksiteduring part of or the entire workday.
  • Public Administrations who require Health and Safety personnel to fulfil theirsupervision requirements on the worksites.
  • Project Management or worksite Assistance that requires qualified Health andSafety personnel during part of or all the worksites that are to be carried out.
  • All those companies that are to carry out particularly risky work within or outsidetheir premises.

SELF-PROTECTION PLANS

Preparing the Self-protection Plan report and submitting it to the Self-protection PlanGeneral Register in the Basque Country.

Provide training to those people in charge who are selected selected and regularlycarrying out safety drills in order to efficiently implement the Plans.

Aimed at:

  • Heads of public or private activities susceptible of causing risk situations.
  • Public entertainment areas, sports arenas, hotels, guesthouses, nursing homes,industrial estates, schools, hospitals…

SAFETY ADVISOR FOR THE ROAD TRANSPORT OF DANGEROUS GOODS

Companies will be provided with a Safety Advisor for the Road Transport of DangerousGoods, complying with the current regulations.

Aimed at:

  • Those companies responsible for the loaded goods (generally products theymanufacture, or distribute, wastes they produce…), unloading the goods (generallyraw materials, fuels, cleaning products…) or the transport of dangerous goods.

COORDINATION OF BUSINESS ACTIVITIES (CAE)

Documentation control service via the CAE management IT platform.
All courses of action necessary to compile, control, verify and validate the documentation to be furnished in order to enter the work facility (contractors, subcontractors, freelancers etc.).

Targeting:

  • Any company (irrespective of the sector to which it belongs) or administration operating one or more work facilities where the employees of other contractors, subcontractors or freelancers will be working.
  • They may be: those awarded construction projects, industrial plants, workshops, town halls, offices etc.
